It's that time of year again when the pollen counts start climbing as the weeds and trees begin the process into winter. If you're like most people, you wait until you start suffering then you pound down those expensive over the counter allergy remedies. You know, the ones that make you feel like your sinuses live in Death Valley?  Some of them even give you a little buzz, making normal things like driving a challenge!

There is a better way – Allergena The time to act is now! Get some Allergena and start taking it twice daily.  After a couple of weeks your system will be ready for the pollen – let it fly!  There are absolutely no side effects, it's very inexpensive compared to the drug store solutions, and it works really well. I know because my son and I both use it.

Typically, Allergena doesn't completely eliminate symptoms, but it reduces them so much that nothing else is required to survive the allergy season.  And for the price, I just take it all year to be sure. So follow the link above and get some now, you won't regret it.

I was talking to a friend last week who has been taking Korean Red Ginseng for a few months now. He was using it in place of some of the big name ED drugs with great success. About 2 years ago, he whipped prostate cancer and found a need for some type of ED drug.

His supply ran out a couple of weeks ago so I ordered a new bottle of Korean Red Ginseng for him from Progena, but we had failed to get together and deliver it to him. He had been a little under the weather and was feeling pretty tired. After we talked for a while, we realized that he started feeling tired shortly after his supply of Korean Red Ginseng ran out!

We are scheduled to get together this week… Think I may try some myself, LOL

A few friends and I decided we would do an impromptu camp out last weekend. Just north of Albuquerque, there's a nice lake tucked into the foothills of the mountains. It was a warm weekend so we figured why not? No fresh snow to ski on so may as well enjoy the outdoors some other way.

Problem is, with all the warm weather, the junipers are dumping out pollen and the area where we camped was full of… junipers! I was very happy to discover that my immune system had been trained very well, thank you, by my use of Allergena. All the other campers were sneezy and weepy, while I had only very mild allergy symptoms.

Just further proof that regular training of your immune system with a homeopathic such as Allergena is the best answer for seasonal allergy relief!

My son runs track for his high school. They start practice at the beginning of February, about the same time that the spring winds start to kick up in the desert southwest. I remembered how miserable he was last track season with his allergies and reminded him of it. I have been using Allergena for well over a year now and convinced him he should try it this season instead of the over the counter stuff. I have to admit, he is getting smarter! His allergies had already begun to bother him a couple of weeks back when he began using the zone 6 Allergena. As of the last few days, he is pretty much symptom free. Sure, he still sneezes once in a while, when the pollen count screams sky high (I get an email every day to watch it). But he hasn't had to go for the over the counter back up once so far. I am proud that he is bright enough to take a pro-active approach to his health. This is the main stumbling block for most people with regard to homeopathy. It requires that you think about your health and do the right thing ahead of time, not just pop some pill when you feel symptoms. Your reward is lower cost treatments, no side effects, and a much better state of general health!

Korean Ginseng, Korean Red Ginseng, or Panax ginseng, it's a natural substance. By all these names, it has been gaining reputation as a great alternative to other substances for treating erectile dysfunction. But what's not commonly known is that it has many other health benefits. After getting involved in promoting Korean Red Ginseng from Progena, I had a friend who had gone through prostate treatment and he wanted to try it. He had been using one of the mega ED drugs and wasn't very happy with the effects it had on him.  After trying Korean Red Ginseng for just a couple of weeks, not only was he happy with the ED response but he said he was amazed at the new energy levels he had.  Walking, working, whatever, he felt great!

As I mentioned this to other people, I found that Korean Red Ginseng is commonly used for increasing energy levels and general immune health.  Not a bad side effect!

There's a common belief that your allergies will go away when you get the first freeze. I guess the logic is that the cold kills the flowering of plants, therefore no more pollen.  I used to think the same for myself.  About 6 weeks ago I stopped taking my Allergena thinking fall was here and also that I built up some good immune resistance to my allergies.  After all, I had been pretty much allergy free for several months after starting the use of Allergena early in the season.  Well, I was wrong.  Within two weeks I was feeling the symptoms again.  The good news is that using Allergena a couple of times a week seems to be taking care of the problem.  Given the low cost of this product compared to other types of allergy relief, I guess it's not a big deal!

It's always refreshing to see stories about double blind tests conducted at reputable institutions that conclude that homeopathic and or natural cures do indeed work. I get so tired of all the nay Sayers who claim otherwise when I know from personal experience that these products can provide relief in many cases.

Here's an article about the supportive findings of a test of boswellia serrata in aiding pain caused from Osteoarthritis.

As you can read from the study, the findings were positive and significant. Say no to main stream medical practice once in a while and take charge of your health!

There is a lot of information available on the subject of TMJ, or temporomandibular joint disorder. However, many sites do not give a complete picture to work with.  The probable causes of TMJ syndrome can vary widely from injuries to the jaw area, to stress, or even problems with your bite.  TMJ symptoms include headaches, muscle pain in the neck, shoulders, and back, and the resultant weakening of ones general state of health resulting from loss of sleep.

Most professionals who deal with patients suffering from TMJ agree that TMJ treatment should include several aspects.  A dentist experienced in TMJ treatment is always a good first step.  They can check your bite and help correct it if needed.  Most times however, treatment can be effective through the use of exercises and deep tissue massage, combined with a topical ibuprofen cream to reduce inflammation.  While the use of a topical ibuprofen cream for TMJ syndrome is somewhat new, health care professionals have known for a long time that reducing inflammation is key to fast recovery of many pain related issues.  The recent introduction of topical ibuprofen creams has provided a very fast method of reducing muscle inflammation while alleviating concerns with the gastro intestinal system.  Once the muscle inflammation has been reduced, a good Licensed Massage Therapist can speed the healing process with deep tissue massage.

If you happen to live in or near Albuquerque, NM, you can contact Dr. Joanne Allen, DDS, PC at (505) 293-7611.  She has extensive experience in helping patients deal with TMJ Syndrome.  For information on deep tissue massage in the Albuquerque area contact Wendy Waters, LMT (watersnt@gmail.com) at (505) 857-0888.  Wendy has had much success working with Dr. Allen's patients in the treatment of TMJ syndrome.

This article points out two key factors in the increase in popularity of homeopathic medicine. The first is the increase in the discomfort level many of us are feeling with conventional medicine. As the number of prescription drugs that are available to our conventional doctors increases drastically, the possibility for harmful side effects goes up dramatically. Since each of us has a unique system, the range of potential side effects is virtually unlimited. Homeopathic remedies, due to the small quantities involved, greatly reduce this concern.

The other factor is cost. Even with a decent health care policy, the costs associated with conventional treatment are putting doctor visits and the associated tests needed beyond the reach of many middle class folks. And lets not even talk about how much time is needed out of out busy schedules for an urgent care visit.

The result is that more people are thinking of becoming more pro-active in the maintenance of their own health. Proper diet, exercise and correctly administered homeopathic products are all important tools in this pursuit. Personally, I am new to the use of homeopathic products. The good news is that so far my experience with homeopathy, mostly in the ares of allergy products and topical pain relief, has been very positive!

Often times, responsibility can be a pain in the back side. It generally means doing something because we have to, not because we want to. This concept can easily be extended to our modus operandi when it comes to taking care of our physical plant, i.e. – our health.

If we were responsible about the way we treated our health, we'd do everything possible to strengthen our immune system. However, much of the average persons daily lifestyle habit is counter to good immune health in nature. We stress our bodies on every level. In many cases we immerse them in toxic environments. We eat too much grease, too much sugar. Most of the time we get too little exercise. When we get sick we take drugs that leave our gastrointestinal tract out of whack.

If you're serious about your health, it's time to wake up and smell the roses. Our immune system is becoming an ever increasingly interesting issue when it comes to our health. That's because it's at the root of so many problems when it isn't working right.

So start thinking about becoming responsible for the health of your immune system. It's not easy, kind of a pain sometimes. But if you take care of it , it will return the favor. Check back here soon for more thoughts on the subject. I hope to be of some help.
