The probable causes of TMJ syndrome can vary widely from injuries to the jaw area, to stress, or even problems with your bite. TMJ symptoms include headaches, muscle pain in the neck, shoulders, and back, and the resultant weakening of ones general state of health resulting from loss of sleep.
